gave us a great shout out and shared some of my favorite winter time tips!

A BEAUTIFUL BEAUTY JUNKIE
Celebrity Makeup Artist Shalini Vadhera is a first-generation Indian-American. She is A self-professed beauty junkie and a celebrity makeup artist by trade. Shalini decided once that she wanted to bring her pearls of beauty wisdom and discoveries of exotic ingredients to women everywhere. As a result, she developed her line of beauty products - Global Goddess Beauty.

Here are a few of Shalini’s ideas for updating your look:

Toss any makeup or skincare that has changed color, consistency or smells funny. Replace your mascara if you’ve had it longer than three months.

If you haven’t already, switch to a winter foundation. One that is more moisturizing and lighter in color.

Use bronzers sparingly and opt for a pale pink shimmer on the temples, nose and browbone for a more natural glow. Try new colors! Add cream shadows to your makeup routine.

Get out of sheer lipcolors and try some rich creamy colors. Or better yet, mix a darker color with a soft gloss for a softer look.

The key to successfully wearing red lipstick is to make your lips be the feature you want to pop. Red lips pair nicely with a soft bronzer on your cheeks instead of blush. Too much of everything will make you look like a tart!

Ladies - If you're as much of a fan of Sex and the City as I am, then you will love what my dear friend Chris Noth did. In October, we put together a beautiful box full of all our favorite Global Goddess products... (you know them... The South Pacific Shimmer, Exotic Eyes Blackest Mascara, Sizzling Serengeti Tribal Quad Shadows in Arusha, Sandstorm Lip Veil, and our cult product, the Upgrade Complexion Face Primer) and wrapped them up oh so pretty with a specially signed copy of Passport To Beauty. As a surprise to Sarah Jessica Parker, Chris presented her the box on the set of their movie as a "secret" gift. Word has it she flipped. And is loving being a Global Goddess!

I hate to say it but our cult item, Coconut Amla Hair Oil, the Indian beauty secret of traffic stopping shiny hair, has officially hit backorder status! We know it's your favorite as it ours too and we're mixing and blending as fast as we can!

In the meantime, you might be able to find a few at our retail partners: Sephora, Nordstrom, or Victorias Secret.

Otherwise, email us to place your name on the Shine List to be notified first when it's back in stock!

In the meantime, don't forget your lashes and brows! They need a little TLC too! Try the Coconut Amla Lash and Brow Conditioner to start batting lush lashes around town!

It always thrills me to launch a new product and get rave reviews. Our Cairo Eyes Liquid Kohl Liners took over a year to develop and lot's of research to find the perfect blend of good-for-your-skin ingredients and high pigment colors that wouldn't smudge. Here is Sheknows.com's guest author Aly's review of our latest and greatest!

This article comes to us from our guest author, Aly, of the fabulous A Little Alytude blog here at SheKnows.com!

I have a bit of a beauty ritual.

When embarking on a night out, I will always first beeline after work to the nearest Sephora. Where else can you dust on some pretty (and spritz on some sexy) yet spend nary a dollar?

Every so often, in between the lash lengthening and cheek bronzing, I’ll come across a new product I have never heard of that I know will be a permanent member of my beauty routine. The most recent such occurrence was with Global Goddess Beauty’s Liquid Kohl Eyeliners.

Inspired by the timeless gazes of the goddesses and royalty of Egypt, the Cairo Eyes Liquid kohl liners are infused with nourishing Baobab Oil and healing Moringa Oil — the documented beauty secrets of Cleopatra.

Moringa Oil is a favorite in holistic medicine and has excellent oxidative stability, which is probably why the Egyptians placed vases of Moringa Oil in their tombs — it is also light and spreads easily on the skin, making it a bold and dramatic choice in a liner. The colors are intense, and true to the classical figure each is titled in tribute to. I chose Nefertiti — whose name literally meant “the beauty has come” — and the color itself is a soft golden plum whose hue made warmth and glow burst out from my pale, tired skin.

The ancient people of Egypt had a few timeless tricks up their sleeve… as does Global Goddess. The liner that glided on smoothly and sexily stayed put (and unsmudged) the whole night through. That is worth deity status in my book.
